The school emphasizes formation of scientific research teams by cultivating and recruiting academic leaders and staff. Many research teams have been established, including graphic and image processing, artificial intelligence and data mining, parallel and high-performance computing, cloud computing and IOT, etc.
Over 300 research papers have been published in academic journals, with over 100 indexed by SCI. We have hosted and participated in more than 100 research projects with over 20 million RMBs in funding. Our honors include a second-class state natural science award, first-class prize in natural science from the Ministry of Education, one first-class and three second-class prizes from Sichuan Province, and a first-class prize from the State Grid Corporation. More than 300 applications for patents and software copyrights have been filed.
