The artificial intelligence group has 5 teachers, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, and 1 lecturer. All the young teachers in the group have a doctoral degree and experience of study, work or short-term visit abroad.

The group has cooperated with the Institute of Image Sciences of Vanderbilt University, CuraCl0udCo., Sichuan University West China Hospital, Dianshi Financial Services Group and other scientific research institutions and well-known enterprises. With machine learning and data mining as the core technology, it carries out academic research and promotes the industrialization in the fields of computational intelligence, image denoising and reconstruction, target segmentation, natural language processing, intelligent recommendation and gene analysis, etc.

The group has published a number of high-level papers in national and international journals and well-known conferences, of which more than 20 have been indexed by SCI and El. The group members presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level, municipal-level projects and horizontal R&D projects. The Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project "Industrialization Development of Ultra-light and Thin New Fixed IT Terminal Equipment" has earned billions of RMBs in revenue. Moreover, it has been authorized 3 invention patents and obtained about 20 software copyrights.
