The Embedding and IoT Research Group is committed to wireless sensor network based environment perception, autonomous navigation and positioning of robots, application of brain-computer interface, research and development of neural information equipment in the field of brain science. It tries to improve the intelligent level of the existing equipment using embedded GPU, programmable SOC, high-performance DSP, etc.

The research group has applied for more than 10 national patents, of which national some invention patents have been authorized; undertaken and participated in more than 10 national research projects including major national scientific instruments, national science and technology support plan, national high-tech research and development plan (e.g., the 863 plan), etc., as well as a number of development projects entrusted by enterprises and institutions. The group has an average annual research fund of more than 2 million yuan. Moreover, it has won a second prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award.
